I am so in love with how these Mini Banana Splits look! They were created by our lovely friend and baker, Christa's Confections. She bakes amazing cakes (like the one in our 4th of July Party Spread) and treats. Another thing I am in love with is our photographer, Shannon aka Riso Studio. Her eye and work is amazing!

As you can see above, these are super easy to make. There are just a few simple steps.

I recommend keeping these in a cool spot when serving. The chocolate + whipped cream can melt easily.

Can't get enough of how pretty these are!

These are the printable food tent cards from our {4th of July} Party Printable Collection!

Happy Banana Splitting!

These might be the cutest things I have ever seen! They make a great 4th of July party dessert!

  • 2 bananas (sliced into 6 equal parts)
  • 1/2 bag (6 oz) chocolate chips
  • 1/4 to 1/2 can whipped cream or 1/2 pint heavy whipping cream + 1/2 cup sugar
  • 6 bing cherries
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles of your choice

Melt chocolate chips according to instructions (usually best to melt on low heat so that it doesn't burn). Dip bananas into melted chocolate halfway up and then dip in sprinkles. Let dry on parchment or wax paper. Before serving top with whipped cream and a cherry. To make the homemade whipped cream beat heavy cream and sugar into stiff peaks!
