DIY Leather Pockets (Leather Couch Chronicles #6)
This DIY Pockets tutorial can be used for any piece of clothing you own! Hopefully, you aren't sick of the Leather Couch Chronicles yet because you guessed it ... this is #6 of the series! I used the leather from a $25 Goodwill couch for these pockets. I tell ya that couch is the gift that keeps on giving.
I just realized I am completely addicted to stripes. Do my DIY Loafers ring a bell? How about my DIY Striped Skirt? What about my DIY Sequin Shirt? Oh brother! If you are as obsessed with black + white stripes as I am, here are all of my DIY posts where you will see black and white stripes.
Cut two rectangles to the size of the pockets you want. Mine are 5 1/2" x 7."
Because pins will leave holes in your leather, glue the pockets into place. Don't glue the top of the pockets!
Sew along the sides and bottom of each pocket using your leather needle. And that's it! Piece of cake ... huh?
